Feast or Famine

After a week of company, I'm ready for a little routine. It's been awhile since I've been to the gym; and with my mother not around, it will be pleasant not to plan my whole day around food. She literally thinks of food non-stop, and I'm pretty sure she dreams of chicken and mayonnaise at night. Plus I'm sure I'll be hit with a sky-rocketed water bill since the same woman runs water constantly--often rinsing and re-rinsing and re-rinsing dishes before they hit the dishwasher. Ironically my mother does laundry only twice or three times a month. But then can we ever understand the idiosyncrasies of the OCD?

Anyway, after taking stock of the fridge, this is what my mother's diet consisted of in addition to the regular three meals a day I provided:

-- a full jar of mayonnaise
-- a full container of honey
-- 2/3rds of a 3 pound tub of margarine
-- remaining leftover lasagna (about half of a 9x12 pan)
-- 2 1/2 loaves of bread

Of course, this is in addition to the 7 boxes of cereal my parents consumed, 4 boxes of crackers and 5 gallons of milk.

Wow, whatever am I going to do with money I save on groceries this week?
