10 Things I Hate About...
Grocery Shopping:
10. Long checkout lines
9. Price checks
8. Thinking I've found the last semi-close parking spot only to find it's cluttered with numerous discarded shopping carts
7. People who stare into my cart
6. Candy placed at kid's eye-level at checkouts specifically designed to cause parenting issues. If you give in, people sigh and say you're letting them rule or say things like "In my day...". If you say no, the kid gets loud and disrupts nearby customers -- many of which say rude things "under their breath" regarding your lack of parenting skills.
5. Putting it all away at home
4. Trying to decide every meal for the next two weeks at just one shopping trip
3. Not having enough room in the cart, thereby ousting children from their seats
2. People at self-checkout lines who have no idea how to use them
And the #1 thing I despise about grocery shopping: Oblivious people leaving carts positioned so that others cannot get by them causing back-up

hehe. good list. you know, you could just wait until i get home to go.
I had a bad experience a few months back where I was the perpetrator of positioning a trolley so no one could get past - but I only did it cause my two year old was grabbing for everything within reach!! I was trying to be aware of other shoppers and moving it accordingly and I would certainly have had no problem moving it immediately if it had been kindly requested with a polite "excuse me", not the "ERRR! GET OUTTA MY WAY!" I got from some crabby old bag who has obviously never had to multi task dealing with a toddler and a weekly grocery shop at the same time. The incident scarred me so badly that I now do my shop on a day that Miss T is in daycare.
I'll admit, I have done a few annoying things purposefully just to frustrate crabby shoppers! So kudos to you Skape7 for not giving in to rudeness!
